The town has gingerbread facades, which recall Victorian heritage and harbor modern day delights. A short walk puts you at the base of the ski mountain. Telluride Mountain Village, which is accessed by a free gondola, provides another ski base at mid mountain. LODGING: The Mountainside Inn is located at the base of the resort, it is ski-in, walk -out. It has an outdoor riverside hot tub, wireless internet and daily trash and towel service. Blue Mesa Condos are also slopeside near the Gondola in the Mountain Village. It has ski storage, laundry and a restaurant. Cimmaron Condos are ski in/out at the mountain base, a short walk to downtown Telluride. They have fireplaces, ski storage and use of a nearby fitness center.
