There are ski buses also to Lech and Zurs. It is a region which is blessed with reliable snow. The St Anton terrain is vast and diverse, with easier lower slopes running to the village, to extreme ski routes up above. The scenery is stunning. LODGING: The 4-star Hotel Arlberg, located in the city center, is only about 400 yards from the lifts. It has and elevator, restaurant, bar and dining room. The rooms have a bath or shower, TV, hairdryers, and safe. The complex has an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, solarium and massage. A buffet breakfast and four course dinner with a choice of main dish is included. The Hotel Alpenhof is a 3-star hotel about ¼ mile from the city center and the lifts. It has an elevator, lounge, restaurant and free hotel shuttle service to the lifts. The rooms have a bath or shower, TV and safe. The complex has a sauna, steam bath, solarium and massage. A Buffet breakfast and 3-course dinner is included. MOUNTAIN FACTS: St Anton and Arlberg have 8 trams, 12 chairs and 72 surface lifts. The resort base is at 4.278 feet, the top of the lifts is at 9,222 feet and the vertical drop is 4, 930 feet.
